The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM) has identified combination treatments as up and coming trend in aesthetic medicine, extremely effective in addressing multiple age-related changes.

Depending on the treatment area, the decision regarding the timing of the injection of Botulinum toxin or dermal filler may defer. Usually, the dynamic component should be treated before the static component of the wrinkle, mainly because the use of Botulinum toxin may be enough to resolve the hyperkinetic line.
