Until recently, the only option for people who wanted to reshape their nose was a surgical rhinoplasty which requires general anaesthetic and the patient to stay in the hospital for few days. Also, side effects of severe bruising and swelling keep patients indoors for few days because no one wants people pointing finger at them on the street.
While surgical rhinoplasty still remains the best option for major size and shape nose changes, non-surgical rhinoplasty or non-surgical nose job is better for those who need moderate and minor nose reshaping.
Nose occupies the centre of the face, so any mild asymmetry can be quite striking. A non-surgical nose job is used to correct a wide range of nose defects by reshaping and resizing it.

How does the treatment look like?
Prior to the treatment, you will have a consultation with Dr Matic during which you will discuss your expectations and go through all the aspects of the procedure.
The non-surgical nose job procedure is quick and simple and lasts 10-15 minutes. Even though the fillers we use for non-surgical nose job contain a built-in anaesthetic which helps to minimise pain, we routinely apply additional anaesthetic cream as well. The thick hyaluronic acid filler is then injected with a tiny needle or a blunt cannula. You will be awake during the procedure. After the procedure, you will be free to continue with your daily routine.
Will my breathing be affected by a non-surgical nose job?
Non-surgical nose job will not affect your breathing because the filler is placed superficially onto the bone under the skin.
Will I have to wear surgical tape or a splint after the procedure?
There is no need for supportive tape or a splint because the bone and cartilage have not been altered.
Are there any side effects?
The most common side effects that can happen are nose swelling, tenderness, bruising and redness which normally resolve within few days.
Will I have scars?
Considering we do not do any incisions and only use a needle or a cannula, there will be no scars.
How long do the results last for?
Results typically last about 12 months but it is important to highlight that with repeated treatments the results last even longer.
Post Treatment Advice
Post-treatment advice for individuals who had non-surgical nose job is the same as it is for all dermal fillers procedures. It is also important to avoid wearing sunglasses for 2 weeks because it can press on the filler and alter its position.
